SILK ROAD is a collection of four silk designs grouped together but to be sold individually as hangers, carrés or flat samples (USA) rather than in a pattern book. The name refers to the famous trading routes from the orient to continental Europe.

This is the Japanese name for an unusual form of iris which resembles a butterfly in shape. Stylistically this jacquard design owes something to Andy Warhol with colours which are either vivid and brilliant or dark and mysterious.
